We have volunteer shifts available every day of the week. Shifts can start any time of the day and last 2 hours. We can never have too many volunteers!
Volunteers also get discounted horseback riding lessons on the Haflingers! Suitable volunteers will also have the opportunity to lease a Haflinger, and/or attend summer shows and clinics.
Volunteering is a great way to gain experience with horses; no previous horse experience required! Volunteer hours can count toward service hours as well.

Riding lessons are available for volunteers on the Haflingers with instructor Hailey Olson. No experience required! Both English and Western lessons are available.
Hailey's teaching style is dressage-based and takes an interdisciplinary and biomechanical approach to riding, aiming to establish a solid foundation and movement-based understanding of riding in any discipline.
If you are interested in volunteering and taking lessons, please reach out to Michelle (haflingerhaveninc@gmail.com) or Hailey (mistypinesstables@gmail.com).
